The game has changed for communication service providers and network operators
The smartphone revolution and the arrival of over-the-top competitors are creating waves of fast-paced change within the industry. To retain a leading role, operators must break through the barriers restricting their service and charging evolution and enable their network to change at the speed of the market.
Our survey indicated that the top three barriers for operators were:
Innovation cost, innovation timescales and their legacy service-layer vendors
