The Service Interaction application lets service providers:
- make new products, by re-using and augmenting existing products (and/or components of products
- embrace new networks and technologies, to innovate, while minimizing any potential impact from the migration on their subscribers.
- selectively trigger and run multiple services on a single network trigger
The application blends together services, by managing the signaling interactions between them in a centralized middleware layer, which sits between the network and the services layer. It provides service brokering and service interaction functionality for SS7 and IMS (SCIM) networks.
Using the Service Interaction (SI) model, you can change interaction logic without changing service logic. The Service Interation application controls the sequence of services that it invokes, managing and coordinating the interaction between each service.
