Virtual PBX

Description

Provides a "hosted PBX" system, so that a company can manage what is effectively a shared resource as though it is a private system on their own site. The functionality makes it appear as if the PBX system is at the local business, when it is actually an application hosted on the service provider's site.

This arrangement lets small businesses take advantage of a comprehensive voice system, without the high cost of purchasing and maintaining a sophisticated PBX. The business gains access to features normally only available to larger enterprises, with the service provider leveraging an economy of scale.

The application can also supply services such as messaging, call-forwarding and call-waiting options, as well as advanced calling features such as automatic dialing and other functions unique to the integration of phone and computer.
